Responsibility can be an intimidating concept. Enormous is another thing. Combining them may overwhelm someone who wants to live a carefree life—like me. Ironically, I have an eagerness to learn as much as I can, even though it can be stressful. It is a constant battle within myself, especially with procrastination. I may have started with a negative connotation, but my experience didn’t exactly begin in a field of flowers. At that time, my field was just enough to satisfy me—simple and lacking life. I avoided taking on big tasks and stayed within my bubble. Eventually, reality burst that bubble, and it was inevitable. Though the change was difficult for my old self, I am grateful for the opportunity to grow, which earned me the trust of those around me and, most importantly, myself. My experience shifted my perspective and taught me how to plant flowers in my own field. I realized that life holds endless possibilities—so why let fear stop me from taking responsibility? A moss grows on a stone that doesn’t roll, and staying in one place for too long can be detrimental. Growth comes from movement, from embracing challenges, and from stepping beyond comfort.
